HDSW Job Posting - Employment Coordinator - Full Time

Position overview:

The Employment Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of vocational activities for the

HDSW Supportive Housing Program. The Employment Coordinator works with consumers to

establish person-centered vocational goals. The Employment Coordinator is responsible for Job

Development and works in collaboration with the Clubhouse Director to meet job placement and

employment retention goals for HDSW. The Employment Coordinator also works as a generalist

in the Clubhouse program. This staff works together with the Program Coordinator to oversee

the daily operation of the Employment Unit.


Qualifications:

Master’s Degree/Master’s candidate; Bachelor’s Degree; Vocational Counselor; or Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Additional minimum one-year mental health experience and proven Job Development experience a must. Previous Job Coach experience, knowledge of ACCES-VR, and/or Bilingual a plus.

Must have excellent computer, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills and have a working knowledge of Medicaid and Social Security Benefits. Ability to multi-task and work with a variety of people.

Clean driver’s license and own car for fieldwork required.

Criminal History Background Check and fingerprinting required.
