Westchester Community Foundation Grant Assists Education at HOPE HouseThe Board of Advisors of the Westchester Community Foundation awarded a grant of $7,500 to help fund the Supported Education Program at HOPE House. The Supported Education Program offered by HOPE House enables members to attend school by linking them to educational resources in the community, providing on-site tutoring and support, and distributing scholarship funds. Andrea Kocsis, HDSW Executive Director explains, “Education empowers and encourages members to participate as active and contributing citizens of the community and to further their employment potential and career goals. HOPE House believes that education and employment are deeply generative and re-integrative forces in the life of every individual.”
