Much Gratitude to Friends of HDSW

In 2002, Friends of HDSW awarded a $50,000 grant to HOPE House, a $15,000 grant to the HOPE House Scholarship Fund, and a $15,000 grant for HDSW staff education. In addition, the Friends of HDSW managed our annual fund drive raising $8,000. Participate in Health Walk 2003 Every year HDSW clients, staff, and Board Members participate in the Human Race. This year the Human Race has been renamed Health Walk 2003, to highlight the mental and physical benefits of walking. Health Walk 2003, a 5K walk, will take place at White Plains High School on Saturday, May 17 from 7:30–9:30 a.m. We welcome your support through donations to sponsor our walkers or by walking in the event. One hundred percent of monies raised by HDSW walkers are used to fund the annual summer vacations for the Residential Program or HOPE House.
